Guillermo Rojo Gil (1992, Madrid) is a high-level athlete in track and field. While competing for FC Barcelona, he won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Games and was also a semi-finalist at the recent Paris 2024 Games as a guide for visually impaired athletes. He has also served as a pacemaker for some of the world’s best 800m runners.
On the other hand, he is a physical trainer for astronauts (currently Sara García Alonso), having worked at the European Space Agency and collaborated with other space agencies and institutions. He is also the co-inventor of training and rehabilitation devices (Maxforce and MicroG device).
